Laser Lab TX & Cerakote Training Packages

A 50% deposit is required at the time of registration. The total balance is due at the beginning of the first day of class.

Beginner Training Package

This class covers everything listed in the curriculum. We start with the basics and cover everything you will need to know to be fully capable of producing projects with your laser!

• Duration: Three Days Long
• Cost: $4,500 plus tax per student (training only)

With 50w JPT Fiber Laser and Accessories Purchase and Training:

• Package Price: $9,500 plus tax
• The laser purchased with this package is exactly like the laser you will train on.
• Add-on Cerakote Training; Total Package Price; $11,000 plus tax

Advanced Training

This course caters to those with at least basic knowledge of operating a laser and some graphic design.

• Duration: Two Days
• Cost: $2,500 plus tax per student (training only)

With 50w JPT Fiber Laser and Accessories Purchase and Training:

• Package Price; $7,500 plus tax
• The laser purchased with this package is exactly like the laser you will train on.
• Add-on Cerakote Training; Total Package Price; $9,000 plus tax

Laser Lab TX & Cerakote Training Curriculum

Over three days, we will cover everything you need to know to operate your laser successfully. You will be able to start and complete projects the minute you return to your home or business! Classes will include, but not be limited to:

Understanding Your Laser

Calibration and alignment, functions of the hatch, line spacing, power, speed, and frequency, and how they work together.

Marking and Engraving

How to mark or engrave steel, aluminum, silver, brass, copper, polymers, plastics, acrylics, and more.

Design and Preparation

Understanding and using Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape to create designs that the laser will recognize and duplicate.

Finishing Your Project

Once your project is engraved, there are many ways to finish and detail, such as cerakote, polish, old penny, color backfill, etc. We will discuss the options and how to achieve them. (You will be allowed and encouraged to bring a project to train on.)

At the conclusion of training, you will be given a current copy of EzCad2 and a library of settings to install on your laser. These settings are for the laser to mark various materials.

If any areas were not addressed during the standard curriculum, we will try to address those as well — everyone’s direction for their business is different. We will help you with brand recognition and getting your name out there so you can start making money!

You will have after-class support as well. Laser Lab TX & Cerakote will be available for any questions you may have via email, text, or phone, or if needed, we can remotely help using Team Viewer.
